Assisted Bathrooms
Do you allow service users from the outside community who have had a needs assessment to use Assisted Bathing facilities at the scheme subject to policies, procedures, training, compliance etc and if so do you charge them for this service and what sort of cost.

Hi Eirlys, yes the assisted bathing suites are made available to those living in the wider local area to the extra care scheme should they require the provision (usually identified via social worker). There is a small charge levied which is a 'housekeeping charge' for cleaning the bath and washing any towels used - I understand this is around £2.50.
