Business Rates in Extra Care Schemes

Hi,

I wondered what experience people had of being asked to pay business rates for services provided in extra care schemes. We have recently been charged for a small kiosk in a scheme. We are part of a PFI scheme so the provider of this service are a large company providing facilities management and cannot get relief and are asking us as the Housing management to take this on.

Any thoughts would be welcome.
