Charges for Extra Care Housing using Affordable Rents

Hi there

We are considering the viability of an Extra Care schme using affordable rents. Our first calculations have produced charges of £160-170 per week which will inclue the rent and service charge. This seems high, both compared to our existing accommodation and for a 1 or 2 bed flat in Manchester. Anyone else doing similar sums - how does this compare with your level of charges?
