Consultation: refreshed version of the Code of Practice for care workers in Wales

The Care Council for Wales' consultation on a refreshed version of the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers is now open. Whilst there is no specific reference to extra care housing, it is relevant to those organisations delivering at home care in a housing sitting. In particular, it seeks to reflect modern social care provision in Wales ensuring they are consistent with important developments such as the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014. The consultation closes at 5pm on 30 September 2014.
