Fairer Charging - Extra Care Housing
Could anyone please offer advice, impart knowledge on how Local Authorities are tackling this issue.
Here, in Nottingham, we are in the process of addressing the issue of how fairer charging should be applied to Extra Care.
Should it be applied to all elements? Should it be applied in the same way as domiciliary care?
Should the same model be used but with differing maxmum charge levels.

You may need to pay special attention if you are considering charging for any telecare services where these are being included in extra care facilities.
