Housing options and advice for younger adults with sight loss

Imogen Blood 24/04/14 General Housing Topics

Imogen Blood & Associates and Housing & Support Partnership are doing two scoping studies for the Thomas Pocklington Trust on housing for younger (16-44 years) adults with sight loss. One is looking at the provision of housing advice to this group and the other is considering how the policy and funding climate is driving housing options for them, especially in relation to the move to independent living.
Does anyone have (or know of) any good practice in this area or have any views or experiences about issues and gaps to feed in to the studies which will inform a larger research/ development programme next year? If so, please contact [log in to view email address]
