Introductory Tenancies and Extra Care

We have a sheltered scheme with some Extra Care. Some Extra Care nominations are uncertain as to whether this is the right move for them. We currently only offer the option of a full tenancy which means they give up their existing home. Has anyone offered 'trial' tenancies e.g. for a month and if so how did you do this?
