New extra care development
Hi
We are currently deloping a new 54 bed extra care block in Poole Dorset and I am in the process of organising concessions. I wondered if anyone had any experience of the following please:
1) Catering
Is there anything in particular you definately would or would not include in a schedule of requirements when looking to go out to tender for a restarant concession - what are your dos and don'ts?
2) Hairderssing
We were hoping to find a tenant to run a salon in the building, but there does not seem to be a huge amunt of interest. Any tips for generating interest please?
3)Mobility scooters
How do other people manage mobility scooters within extra care schemes, in terms of a storage/charging facility, or allowing them into apartments?
4)Selling flats
Has anyone gone down the route of offering units for sale rather than on a shared ownership model? Again, any do's and don'ts would be appreciated.
