North Yorkshire Extra Care Housing Procurement

North Yorkshire County Council are delighted to announce the launch of a procurement process to find organisations to work with to deliver a major expansion of extra care facilities across England’s largest County.

The multi-million pound project will see Extra Care accommodation in every major town and location in North Yorkshire. The County Council is procuring a framework of suitably qualified and experienced organisations who will design, fund, build, manage and operate further extra care schemes across the County.

To assist organisations wishing to participate with this procurement a market engagement event will take place on 13 March 2015, 10.45am to 1pm at County Hall, Northallerton. At the event information will be provided about extra care housing in North Yorkshire, the requirements and the procurement process. The market engagement event will also provide organisations with the opportunity to discuss and raise questions relating to this procurement.
