Hi

I would like to set up supported accommodation for Care leavers 16-18 and offer this service to Local Authorities. The difficulty I'm having is finding a landlord who can offer tenancy's whereby we would act as a guarantor for the property. I have approached a number of estate agents who have explained that this will not be possible due to the person living at the address will be under 18. Can anyone please advise how this can be resolved, would it be best to approach private landlords directly?

Many Thanks

Ian

Hi Everyone,
I am very interested in setting up my own supported living accommodation for individuals with mild to severe learning disability (special interest in Autism).

I have registered a Domiciliary Care Agency that will provide support with the regulated activities like personal care for the individuals that require this support. I have worked in varied care settings for more than a decade in various capacities, ranging from care worker to a registered manager. I believe that I have acquired appreciable level of experience and required skills to excel in this industry.
I am looking for landlords or property developer that will partner with me.
