Shared or Full Ownership in Sheltered Housing Schemes

We have a growing population of frail older people and we want to use our stock of older persons accommodation to enable such people to remain living independently for longer. However, the majority of older people in our area are homeowners and don't want to rent, for fear of not leaving any inheritance for their children.

Can you point me in the direction of any local authorities/housing associations which have allowed applicants to purchase older persons accommodation, on condition that it is resold to the local authority on their death?
