Overview
In light of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists’ pioneering report, Adaptations without Delay, we explore the significance of the Trusted Assessor process and how it aligns with decision-making on adaptations to deliver the best outcomes at personal, environmental and service levels. The session highlights examples of services and teams inspired by the reallocation of roles involved in equipment and adaptation assessments, as envisioned in the 2019 RCOT report. The focus is on enhancing housing providers' ability to identify service users' and tenants' needs while reserving OT teams for more complex cases.
The webinar features presentations from organisations showcasing innovative approaches to assessing and delivering home adaptations.
