This HAPPI Hour session will:
- Highlight some of the key findings from the DICE study – a three-year study of social inclusion in housing with care and support for older people in England and Wales
- Introduce this new learning resource for housing providers, staff and managers aimed at increasing awareness and confidence in supporting inclusion and diversity within housing schemes.
- Preview the related series of podcasts created by the DICE team that showcase the diverse stories and experiences of residents from different social minority groups.
- Provide an overview to the pioneering 36-month long research project on the housing and care needs of the Bangladeshi ‘probin’ community (Bangladeshi elders) in East London: Amar Bari, Amar Jibon (My Home, My Life)
