As part of the wider Housing 2023 event (opens new window), we are delighted to support the Specialist Housing stream, which will explore the changing needs of housing not just for older and disabled people but for all groups of people with specialist needs.
Issues to be explored include:
- Designing and delivering homes for those with specialist housing needs
- Unlocking personalised outcomes
- Providing better options for housing across our growing older population
- Health and housing, working in partnership to tackle health inequalities
- Home as an essential starting point for health
- Addressing power imbalance through co-production
- Inclusive methods of engagement and ensuring demographic diversity
- Ending the scandal of poor-quality exempt accommodation
- Digital inclusion and service accessibility
- Eliminating fuel poverty through greater energy efficiency measures

Over the course of Housing 2023, TSA will be hosting the TEC Theatre where we will be delivering a number of practical sessions that will give you the insight and know-how into how Technology Enabled Care within housing plays a vital role in empowering individuals to ensure they have the correct support in place to live the life they want.
Located next to the main show entrance, sessions over the course of three days include:
