Housing & Dementia: Policy & Practice for People & Places - Liverpool

Event date

Description

When dementia can make the world a frightening and confusing place, home needs to be somewhere that is safe, supportive and comforting.

If you design or develop housing or if you manage homes, your work can either help people with dementia to live well, or it can add to the complexities caused by their condition.

How dementia-friendly are your policies and practices?

Join Housing & Dementia for a, a free, one-day conference for housing providers, developers, designers and policy-makers working in the Liverpool City Region.

It will provide an understanding of the issues involved and some practical solutions to address them - an opportunity to hear from leading experts and to learn from examples of best practice, latest research and innovation.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to contribute to the refresh of the Liverpool City Council / Liverpool CCG Dementia Strategy.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
