Housing: exploring the way forward for an ageing population

Event date

Focus

According to the Office of National Statistics, the over 75 population is projected to double in the next 30 years. By 2040, nearly one in four people in the UK (24.2%) will be aged 65 or over. The current UK housing system is ill-equipped to deal with the mounting pressures of an ageing population.

The conference will explore housing options across the spectrum for the ageing population. There will be opportunities to hear from speakers of organisations both large and small who are working to improve housing and care options for this key segment of the population.
