Planning for an Ageing Population - East of England (Supported by the HLIN) - Cambridge
Event date
Description
Hughes Hall College, Cambridge, CB1 2EW, UK
19 September 2013 at 9:30AM - 4:30PM
This one-day conference, being held with the assistance of the Retirement Housing Group, will provide some steers on how planners and others can best respond to the challenge of planning for an ageing population. The aim is to take a broad view of the needs of people as they age.
There can be the temptation to think primarily about housing needs but there are many other dimensions to life as an ageing person, so the conference will include speakers on mobility and transport as well as health and social care.
