Aims

An interactive and participative session designed to open up debate about dementia care in SE, bringing together Housing, Social Care and Health professionals.

Exploring issues such as housing and support; care pathways; pressures and challenges of increasing demands on services; planning and commissioning for future needs.

Questioning how can we facilitate closer working between housing, social care and health in SE? What are the main challenges and concerns in SE and what proposals can we bring for meeting them? What training and support needs are emerging for staff and carers and what new approaches are being tried?
