11% of all homes in England owned by social landlords are supported housing

Returns collated by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) from all private and local authority registered providers show a net increase of nearly 43,000 social homes (24,756 affordable rented and 17,275 low cost home ownership units) since 2023.

In addition, the RSH briefings show overall stock ownership and rents on 31 March 2024. 11% of providers’ stock is supported housing.
