A big welcome to our new Future Leaders!
We are delighted to announce that we recently welcomed 7 early career professionals to this year's Future Leaders’ Programme (FLP), sponsored by Thirteen Group.
In the first session of the year, held virtually, the FLP class of 2022 joined in from Wick in Scotland to Portsmouth in England and represented a diverse professional backgrounds including: almshouses, housing associations, home improvement agencies, academia and architects – all expressing a strong passion for improving housing for an ageing population.
It was wonderful to hear about their experience in the sector to date, and what insights they most look forward to gaining during the course of the programme.
Chris Smith, Executive Director of Business Growth at Thirteen Group and sponsor of the Housing LIN programme commented:
“This is a really exciting programme and we are delighted to support for another year. It ties in neatly with our new Living Well strategy and improve our customers’ experiences in later life, and also supports future generations to become our future leaders.”
Jeremy Porteus, The Housing LIN’s CEO, said:

And, with an emphasis on relationship building, it offers a unique opportunity to better understand the leadership qualities that have helped forge partnerships within housing, health and care economies to deliver better outcomes for our ageing population."
