A new information sharing resource on housing and dementia launched today
In association with the Dementia and Housing Working Group (DHWG), today’s HAPPI Hour session highlights the latest examples of practice in relation to taking forward key recommendations of last year’s APPG on Housing with Care for Older People Inquiry report, Housing for People with Dementia: Are we ready?
The session provides the opportunity for Yasmeen Hussein, Policy Executive at Foundations, to launch the Dementia and Housing Padlet, a ‘go to’ dementia information hub (opens new window).
The dementia information hub is home for all the best information, advice, and support for people with dementia, their families, and carers as well as policy makers, practitioners, and academics. It is an ever-growing and developing resource, which pools together the existing assistance, guidance, and research on dementia.
The session follows with examples on how to use the padlet and how it’s a useful tool for people living with dementia and their carers.
For more information about the launch, please visit the event’s webpage. The recording, presentation slides and chat report will be available Wednesday, 1 June 2022.
