ADASS share advice ahead of 30th June EU Settlement Scheme deadline
ADASS have kindly provided useful information for Local Authorities, Care Providers and all adult social care sectors engaged in supporting vulnerable EU/EEA citizens to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme. The application deadline is Wednesday 30th June.
They have commissioned the NRPF Forum to publish guidance (opens new window) specifically applicable to the EU Settlement Scheme that raises significant issues for Local Authorities and for vulnerable EU/EEA citizens who are risk of homelessness or destitution.
In addition:
- The Home Office have published new guidance (opens new window) on how emerging issues around the scheme might affect vulnerable EU/EEA citizens who miss the deadline.
- The Aire Centre have also published guidance (opens new window) on supporting Adults who may lack mental capacity.
- And, Grand Funded Organisations provide direct advice (opens new window) to applicants and organisations supporting them.
You can also find the recording of the Housing LIN HAPPIHour event that took place in March with speakers from ADASS and Guinness Care talking about the implications for the housing with care and support sectors.
