Appello launches DigitalBridge - an analogue to digital protocol conversion solution

Appello launched today its cloud hosted convertor application, DigitalBridge, allowing customers to improve safety by diverting analogue Telecare alarm calls to the Appello Cloud where they are converted into digital calls.

DigitalBridge is an intelligent conversion application that lives in the Appello Cloud. It simply takes the analogue communication from the onsite equipment, converts it into a digital communication protocol so that it can traverse modern Telephony networks without interruption.

The current changes in the telecoms network poses many challenges for providers, and therefore the benefits of Appello DigitalBridge to organisations and their customers are significant. It is the first and only service of this type available in the market, and although Appello offer full digital solutions they recognise not everyone is in a position to realise the benefits of digital just yet.
