Arden Transforming Care Partnership and HOLD (Home Ownership for people with Long-term Disabilities) in the Midlands

As set out in NHS England’s guidance for commissioners, ‘Building the right home’, there is an urgent need to increase the housing options for people with a learning disability and/or autism to ensure that they access the right home and support at the right time.
Home Ownership for people with Long-term Disabilities (HOLD) is one such option and is a Government approved housing model enabling people (the majority of whom are unable to work due to their disabilities and rely on benefits for their income) to buy a home of their own.
