COVID-19: Stay Networked with the Housing LIN – Our Business Continuity

A message from the Housing LIN’s Jeremy Porteus

In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we want to send you all our best wishes. We also want to reassure you that the Housing LIN is closely monitoring the developing situation. We are making sure we follow the recommended guidelines in order to be responsible to ourselves, our family, friends, clients and the public at large. All staff are advised to self-isolate consistent with government advice should they meet the guidance for doing so.

In terms of our services, we have systems in place to ensure we can continue to offer the best service possible with minimum disruption. We are in discussion about moving our high-profile annual conference to later this year. We also cancelled our popular regional network meetings and training courses. We aim to put in place a virtual alternative for these in the coming weeks. Check out our Forthcoming Events pages for any announcements about our rearranged annual conference and/or details on how we plan to run our regional events and training programmes.

Following the latest advice from the government, we are fully set up for remote working and telephone meetings to ensure we can continue to operate through this time with minimum project delivery disruption.  We recommend that you continue to use email to communicate with us via our general email address: info@housinglin.org.uk

As well as communicating via email and mobile telephone we will also participate in meetings via telephone/video conferencing as all non-essential face-to-face meetings have been halted. 

We already have an extensive online platform that can benefit you.
