Connecting Housing to the Health and Social Care Agenda
A case study-led report, which was commissioned by Care Services Improvement Partnership housing leads, suggests that both clients and the NHS and social care agencies would benefit if they involved housing and housing-related services in policymaking, planning and provision of services at an early stage.
The reports shows how housing and related services can help boost public health and also achieve the development of lifetime homes. Other case studies show how people can be discharged home earlier if they have adequate housing.
