EU Settlement Scheme – The deadline has passed but there is still a few weeks left to get direct help
Although the deadline for EU/EEA citizens has now passed, it is still possible for a late application to be made to the scheme – but – the 70 plus Grant Funded Organisations (GFO’s) are only funded until the end of September. There is not much time left now for organisations supporting vulnerable adults who need help with making a late application. Organisations seeking support are encouraged to make contact without delay (opens new window).
ADASS are hosting 2 final EUSS webinars taking place on the 26th August and the 15th September. Click here (opens new window) to book a place on these last webinars.
- 26th August - hosted by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) guidance on how individuals should go about making a late application and attendance is highly recommended.
- 15th September - No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). This is a “must attend” event for all colleagues supporting vulnerable adults. It will explain the impact for those who fail to apply or have applied late and the potential financial burdens for LA’s for EU/EEA citizens who cannot access public funds. This will be the final opportunity to attend this webinar.
