Enter the Housing Design Awards, join the world's leading design resource
The Housing Design Awards (HDA), supported by DLUHC, GLA, Homes England and all 3 major built environment professions (RICS, RIBA and RTPI), has been investing so that the longest running awards programme becomes the number one design resource on the internet.
All shortlisted HDA schemes from 2017 to 2023 are now searchable by a range of themes and criteria. Earlier years dating back to 2006 will follow. A database of more than 1000 schemes will be delivered by Easter when the 2024 shortlist will be added, becoming the largest housing design resource anywhere.
As the exclusive sponsor of the HAPPI award category, we are always pleased to see so many HAPPI-inspired projects make it to the shortlist each year.
Jeremy Porteus, CEO at Housing LIN said:
"As a member of the Older People's Housing Taskforce, and its work to identify measures that can further advance the supply of homes for our ageing population, I recognise that these awards have attracted the best in HAPPI-inspired architecture for over a decade. I am therefore pleased to continue our support of these important industry design awards and look forward to showcasing the winning age-friendly entries later this year.“
Organised by Design for Homes, the HAPPI submissions sit alongside latest mainstream housing for quality and feature a range of affordable and high-end housing options tailored for older individuals, from contemporary age-friendly housing design and retirement living to place-making extra care housing and new hospice provision.
2024's deadline for entry to the HDA is Tuesday 5 March.
