Final gathering of this year's Future Leaders cohort

Gathering for the final meeting of this year's Future Leaders Programme (FLP), the 2024/25 cohort met online to reflect on experiences from the programme's different events and inspiring presentations from sector leaders.

Having heard from seven different leaders in the meetings since the programme commenced in July last year, the group highlighted the benefit of storytelling and appreciating the unexpected routes that a leadership journey can take. We also heard how learning from guest speakers as well as their fellow Future Leaders has inspired members to rethink and add new directions and connections in their own work.

The group will soon share their thoughts on leadership and what they’ve learned in a series of blogs to be published ahead of the FLP contribution at the Housing LIN's London conference on 26th March, where they will join Louise Read of Inspired Villages Group, who sponsored the Future Leaders Programme. We look forward to following this talented group's leadership journeys in future.
