Government publishes its Telecare National Action Plan

The joint 'Telecare National Action Plan, Protecting telecare users throughout the digital switchover journey’, was published yesterday. 

With the digital switchover to be rolled out by January 2027 for an estimated 2 million people, it sets out the actions that the government expects stakeholders, including housing providers, to take to protect telecare users during the digital phone switchover. 

We are pleased to see it also refers to the Technology for our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation (TAPPI) project.
