Healthy Homes in the East of England report launched

Healthy Homes in the East of England

East of England LGA (EELGA) have worked with partners to produce a self-improvement tool for Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), to help enhance collaboration between housing and health sectors to improve health outcomes. Setting out five Guiding Principles, the report also makes a four-point call to action to ICS leaders.

Produced by EELGA, IMPOWER Consulting and Public Health East of England, the report, Healthy Homes in the East of England, highlights the key link between housing and health and focuses on the root causes of poor health, drawing on the strength of existing partnerships already joining up efforts on housing and health at a local and regional level to reduce health inequalities, especially in areas of deprivation across the East of England.

The report also links to useful resources, including the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services in the East of England's two Housing top tips guides hosted by the Housing LIN.
