Housing LIN Case Study showcases Stirling Prize-winning Mae Architects' John Morden Centre
We're delighted to share a new Housing LIN Case Study showcasing The John Morden Centre, an award-winning place of hope during a social care crisis.
Written by Heather Bell, Associate at Mæ Architects, this case study draws attention to a day care centre, adjoining the almshouses at Morden College, a charity in Blackheath, London, which won the RIBA’s Stirling Prize 2023.
It has been at the forefront of tackling social isolation and is designed to be a hub for beneficiaries’ social activities and health and wellbeing needs.
Find out more about The John Morden Centre and join Alex Ely, Founder of Mae Architects, at this year's Housing LIN Summit - A Festival of Ideas in a session titled Creating Vibrant Later Living Homes and Communities on Tuesday 27th February from 2.30 pm.
