**This year, Scottish Housing Day focuses on Homes for Life and explores how the housing sector can better support people in later life as their needs and priorities evolve.**

Scotland's population is ageing more rapidly than the rest of the UK, and as people grow older, their housing requirements often change. This may involve simple adaptations to improve accessibility, incorporating technology to assist with daily activities, or planning a move to a more suitable home that is closer to family, local amenities or easier to maintain.
