Housing for older people win awards at Inside Housing Development Awards 2024

At Friday’s prestigious awards ceremony, several standout housing developments were recognised for their excellence. Among the honorees was United St Saviour’s contemporary almshouse in Southwark, which was praised as a top example of innovative urban living. The Appleby Blue development claimed the award for Best Supported Housing Development.

Also celebrated were two extra care housing schemes: Eldervale in Wigan and Daventry Road in Westminster, which won the awards for Best Healthy Home Developments in rural and urban categories, respectively. Wigan council also won an another award for Whitebeam Close, regenerating outdated sheltered housing and supported living.

In addition, Housing LIN sponsors Metropolitan Thames Valley (MTV) and EMH Group were honored for their contributions to regeneration and mixed use developments.
