Just One Month to Go: A Festival of Ideas - Age-Friendly Homes and Connected Communities

In just one month, we’ll be kicking off our first in-person conference of the year in Leeds! We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday 6th March for "A Festival of Ideas: Age-Friendly Homes and Connected Communities," a pivotal event that brings together housing professionals, policy makers, and stakeholders to discuss the future of housing for older people.
Following several key reports released last year, this event will dive deep into the latest policy discussions from the Older People’s Housing Taskforce and All-Party Parliamentary Group on Housing and Care for Older People Inquiries. Expect insightful keynotes from Professor Julienne Meyer (Chair, Older People’s Housing Taskforce) and Anna Dixon MP (Co-Chair Inquiry, APPG on Housing and Care for Older People), plus sector showcases that explore innovative developments in age-friendly design, placemaking, technology and adaptations.
This event is designed to foster valuable conversations about how we plan, design, and manage housing for the future. We’re grateful to headline sponsors, AtkinsRéalis and Tunstall, and associate sponsors, Invisible Creations, Pro Care, P+HS, and Shakespeare Martineau, whose support makes it possible for us to bring this event to our members at no charge.
