Launched today: Reimagining Care Commission Listening and Engagement Exercise
The Archbishops’ Commission on Reimagining Care has launched its public engagement phase providing individuals and organisations with the opportunity to say where you think care and support is working well, but also where things need to change.
For the next six weeks, the Commission is inviting responses about care and support for adults with disabilities and those with needs in later life. The Commission wants to hear from a wide range of individuals and organisations who have experience of care and care giving through their Listening & Engagement Exercise, which closes on 10th December 2021. The Commission, chaired by Dr Anna Dixon and the Bishop of Carlisle, hopes to hear from a wide range of voices, from all faiths and none, and would be very grateful for your involvement.
We would like to encourage you to contribute as we believe this Commission and its ultimate report will have a significant role in shaping the way care and support is organised and provided in England in the future.
To share your views with the Commission using the online form, please visit the website for all the details of how to respond: Archbishops’ Commission on Reimagining Care - Listening and Engagement Exercise | The Archbishop of Canterbury (opens new window)
The Housing LIN was also delighted to host a HAPPI Hour session on 5 October 2021 with Dr Anna Dixon, the Commission's chair, where we brought together a range of range of examples to explore care within a housing and community context. You can watch again, here.
