National Housing for Older People Awards 2011
The Winners have been selected. Again this year these Awards are part-sponsored by the Housing LIN. The response to the nomination process has attracted 65% more entries than last year. 857 groups of residents played the card game, i.e. 3517 residents from 402 schemes managed by 140 different housing providers of retirement housing and housing-with-care schemes.
The Housing-with-Care entries are divided into 5 categories by size of schemes, plus a top Housing LIN prize for the Best Extra Care Housing scheme. The 34 finalists, announced last week, will all be winners of a bronze, silver or gold award in their categories. The 17 Housing-with-Care finalist schemes are, in alphabetical order:
