New APPG on Housing and Care for Older People Inquiry commences

Today saw the launch of a new APPG Inquiry chaired by Lord Best, Shared Ownership Housing for an Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation – or SO-HAPPI!

Supported by Housing 21 and partnered by the Smith Institute, the APPG will explore the current expansion of shared ownership housing for older people and address: Can shared ownership make the right home an affordable option for later life?

The Housing LIN’s CEO, Jeremy Porteus, is delighted to have been invited to sit on the Panel and share learning and examples of sector practice on shared ownership to shape the Inquiry’s findings.
