We are pleased to feature this new Housing LIN case study which focuses on Melfield Gardens in Lewisham.

Winner of a 2021 Housing Design Awards last night, this Levitt Bernstein and Phoenix Community Housing collaboration showcases its 100% affordable homes that combine intergenerational living with HAPPI principles whilst targeting a highly sustainable Passivhaus standard.

This case study provides an introduction to Melfield Gardens, describes the co-design nature of the development, and showcases the intergenerational, age-friendly and Passivhaus design specifications.
