New Housing LIN guest blog reveals 'what's next' for Kirklees Council following new research findings on ethnic minority housing preferences and needs

This Housing LIN guest blog follows the launch of ‘Older People from Ethnic Minorities in Kirklees: Housing Needs and Preferences Study’, new research revealing how preferences in the ageing ethnic minority population affects housing needs in Kirklees.

Michelle Anderson-Dore, Head of Housing Management & Partnerships at Kirklees Council, provides the reasonings behind the study and shares some of the key findings that will be vital in assisting the council and its partner in providing an inclusive housing and support offer, meeting the needs of all older people across the district.
