John explains how TKP carried out an assessment of need for specialist housing for older people and also the current supply, as well as the impact on local healthcare. In turn, the Inspector concludes that due to the population and its projected increase within older year groups, there is currently an existing and significant shortfall and a growing need for this type of housing.
