New Inspirational Achievement feature: Building a new multi-generational neighborhood

To coincide with the upcoming #HAPPIHour webinar looking at practical examples of international living, our latest Inspirational Achievement focuses on a multi-generational community scheme in Shaw Heath, Stockport led and designed by PRP’s Manchester studio.
The plans to repurpose the former St Thomas’ Hospital buildings into a new, flagship multi-purpose and multi-generational town centre neighbourhood are part of Stockport Council’s vision for the area.
Find out more about how this £25 million development is specifically designed to create a multi-generational community, and learn more about the Academy of Living Well, a 70-bed intermediate care and dementia facility is also planned for the North-eastern end of the site.
