New blog explores creating accessible and age-inclusive homes to improve lives

This blog by Shannon Conway MRICS, Co–Founder of Picture This (opens new window), explores the journey of creating age-inclusive and accessible homes, emphasising the importance of designing spaces where people of all ages and abilities can thrive.

Initially focused on the needs of older adults, the mission evolved after hearing about the struggles of wheelchair users. This revelation led to a commitment to include at least 10% wheelchair-accessible homes in all developments and to consult with people with disabilities during the design process.
