New book reimagines age-friendly communities

Reimagining Age-Friendly Communities cover

Policy Press have published an open access, digital book which provides a collection of useful chapters written by different contributors from the Manchester Urban Ageing Research Group exploring various aspects of urban ageing and spatial justice.

The book explores creating age-friendly urban communities, addressing inequalities affecting ageing. Its 12 chapters emphasise social justice, equity, diversity, and co-production, highlighting local-level social change despite structural obstacles.
