New cohort of Future Leaders meet for the first time

Today saw the latest intake of Housing LIN Future Leaders meet for the first time.

Sponsored by Inspired Villages Group (IVG), the 2024/2025 programme kicked off at IVG's Milfield Green, Caddington, near Luton, the first retirement village built to Net Zero Regulated Carbon Rated standards in the UK.

We were delighted to welcome the successful applicants to this year's Future Leaders Programme (FLP), the 4th and largest cohort to take place. They range from early career professionals in the retirement and specialist housing sectors, intergenerational living, architecture and construction, health and social care, academia and policy.

They were also joined by Emma Connelly (Head of Talent Acquisition and Culture at IVG), along with speakers James Willcox (Head of Sustainability at IVG), and Yasmeen Hussein (Regional Advisor at Foundations) from the FLP2 programme, who gave a personal insight into how the FLP has guided and benefited her.

The meeting concluded with a tour of Millfield Green with FLP4 members, to see first hand the eco-friendly development.
