New report reveals the true extent of the housing disrepair crisis being faced by older people in Wales

Older people in Wales are facing a housing crisis. Care & Repair Cymru’s new report looks at the challenges, causes and solutions to a threat targeting our oldest homeowners.

Based on their internal data collected through casework, daily interactions with clients and their experience of delivering adaptations in the homes of older people across Wales for over 35 years, this report reveals how vulnerable older adults are at risk of ill health and hospitalisation because of the condition of their home.
