Radio 4's 'You and Yours' is an Integrated Retirement Community special

You and Yours' special on BBC Radio 4 highlighted Integrated Retirement Communities as a key part of the social care solution, and reported live from the ExtraCare Charitable Trust's Shenley Wood village in Milton Keynes. 

ARCO's policy team has been working with Radio 4 since before Christmas to shape the social care special that was aired this lunchtime. They wanted the programme to have a positive focus and to show a way ahead for social care, which is why Integrated Retirement Communities were at the centre. 

David Tunney, a resident living at the village, spoke brilliantly about the health and wellbeing benefits and thriving social life, and even said "If I won the lottery tonight, I would not move out!"
