Survey exploring dementia-related stigma in Extra Care Housing

The Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester invites you to take part in a study that involves completing an anonymous survey to explore stigma, prejudice and discrimination towards people with dementia living in Extra Care Housing settings.

You have been invited to participate in this research because you are an Extra Care Housing scheme/village manager/Senior Care Staff Member/Dementia Specialist.

The survey explores different aspects of stigma towards residents living with dementia in extra care housing, including the extent of the issue, sources, possible causes and your experience in addressing this issue. The survey questionnaire is anonymous, all questions are optional, and it should take you around 15 minutes or less to complete the survey.

The survey findings will help us understand stigma towards Extra Care Housing residents living with dementia and how best to address this issue. They will also be used to develop a more in-depth exploration of the issue using interviews at case study sites later on in the study.
