TAPPI Cast - 27 January 2023

On Tuesday this week the TAPPI comms team joined our Co-production and Engagement partners at their second Co-production Champions Group meeting. The group is made of tenants and staff champions from each TAPPI testbeds which are meeting throughout the course of the TAPPI project with the aim to work together in equal partnerships to design and deliver digital technology solutions which improve health and independence.

Expertly led by Co-production Works, they did a creative exercise drawing how they felt about technology at this stage of the project. As you can see people drew powerful images!

The TAPPI comms team also discussed how we want to tell the TAPPI story through their experience with technology. We look forward to sharing some of their personal stories with you.

On Thursday, we were delighted to host the second TAPPI Steering Board meeting, a board that brings together a range of UK and international experts to provide oversight to this exciting technology enabled housing and care project.

Chaired by Professor Roy Sandbach, who also chaired the original TAPPI Inquiry, we were joined by 2 of the 6 testbeds who shared insights into their project, presented on issues and opportunities, and got invaluable input from the Board.

We were also joined by our Co-Production and Engagement and Evaluation and Shared Learning partners who explained their role to the Board and gave an update on progress and developments.

We also added a few new useful resources to the TAPPI microsite, including a report and a blog on the important changes impacting the digital transition and how to safely transition from analogue to digital in a timely manner, and TSA’s January edition of their industry magazine TEC Voice (opens new window).
