The Competition and Markets Authority update on work in housing sector

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) have published two updates; the first on consumer protection work in rented housing (opens new window) and the second a housebuilding market study (opens new window).

In relation to older people’s housing, the first also draws attention to Retirement housing fees and the CMA’s plans to review current practices on exit and other event fees in retirement homes.
